SIRSpend

Interactive SIR Simulation with Health Economics

    SIRSpend Interactive SIR Epidemiological Simulation

SIRSpend is a free, interactive Susceptible–Infected–Recovered (SIR) epidemiological simulation model with integrated health economics calculations. Built by our intern Serena Gasperoni and Parissa Naghipour, it's a clean web app perfect for teaching SIR modelling and exploring different pandemic scenarios.

The tool lets you model quarantine scenarios with configurable detection delay and effectiveness, compare transmission-reducing interventions against a no-intervention baseline, and run built-in health economics calculations covering ICU costs, quarantine costs, intervention costs, and more.
